5 Days East Java Explorer Tour Code: AKS-08 ITINERARY
Day 01 = ARRIVAL - PPLH (D)
	Upon arrival at Surabaya airport, meeting service and then direct transfer to PPLH Environmental Educational Center. En route passing vast terraced rice fields, lush countryside, and rural villages. Stay overnight at PPLH including simple dinner.
Day 02 = PPLH (B / L /D)
	Simple breakfast at the center. Exploration of the center to have a closer inspection of its environmental activities such as botanic gardens, compos making, water treatment, and etc. Next walk through vast terraced rice fields and riverbanks, visit mini hydropower, and observe on the rural settlements. Simple lunch at the center. Next take a hike through a dense tropical rain forest of the center to a spring temple of 11th AD. Back to the center and free. After simple dinner have a discussion about environmental issues.
Day 03 = PPLH - BROMO (B / L)
	Simple breakfast at the center. Depart to Mt. Bromo area. En route stop at an interesting fishing village to see the daily activates of the fishermen and some beautiful traditional wooden boats and traditional salt refinery. Lunch at local restaurant. Overnight at Mt. Bromo area.
Day 04 = BROMO - KETAPANG (B / L)
	Very early morning, join Mt. Bromo tour. The tour is conducted through a transfer to Cemara Lawang village, get the pony riding and descending the steep slope of Mts. Tengger, crossing the sea-of-sand, and climbing up 245 steps to reach the awesome rim crater where like other tourists wait for the sunrise cracking up the day through its rays from the eastern range of Mts. Tengger. From here a marvelous views of Mt. Bromo and its surrounding can be seen (subject to the weather). After enjoying the sunrise back to the hotel to have breakfast. Next transfer to Ketapang located at the easternmost tip of Java. Lunch at local restaurant. Overnight at Ketapang.
Day 05 = IJEN EXCURSION - BALI (B / L)
	Early in the morning around 04h00, join Ijen (2,400 m) Excursion. The tour will be conducted by jeep ride, which is arranged from the hotel, via Licin at stop at Pal Tuding, the last monitoring station, from which you supposed to take a-3 km trek to the crater. Breakfast will be arranged from the hotel (picnic style). This volcano offers a savannah landscape, ruggedly beautiful panoramas, grand hiking, and a placid, brightly yellow crater-lake. The summit of Mt. Ijen is a gorgeous crater filled with haunting turquoise-blue lake with its surface streaked in the wind blow patterns of yellow sulfur vapor. By the crater lake edge, there is an evil-smelling sulfur where local people digging and carrying 60-70 kgs on their bare shoulders for 2 miles ascending and descending steep Mt. Ijen wall. Drive back to the hotel to have lunch and shower. Upon completion, transfer to the ferry port of Ketapang and cross the strait of Bali for further drive to your hotel in Kuta / Sanur / Nusa Dua.
