Days Surabaya - Bali Overland

ITINERARY

01 = ARRIVAL - SURABAYA - CITY TOUR - MALANG / BATU (L)
|

Upon
arrival at Surabaya airport of morning flight, meeting service
and then direct join city sight seeing tour of Surabaya
featuring the traditional harbor of Kalimas to see harbor
activities and some traditional "Pinishi" schooners,
heroes monument as the hallmark of the city, Kayoon flower
market with its fresh and beautiful tropical flower market,
and city zoo to see cute Orang Utan and distinguished Komodo
dragon lizard. Lunch will be arranged at local restaurant.
Next, proceed to Malang with en-route stop at Singasari
Temple and its gigantic Dwarapala guardian statues dating
back from 14th century. Stay overnight at Malang / Batu. |

02 = MALANG - FULLDAY TOUR (B / L) |

Breakfast
at hotel. Take full day sight seeing of Malang and its vicinity.
Malang is known as an old colonial retirement town with
some old colonial buildings, refreshingly green parks and
streets. This city sightseeing features city hall and the
adjacent bird/flower market, town square, Pasar Besar, Eng
Ang Kiong Chinese Temple, colonial architecture along Ijen
boulevard and fine ceramic pottery at Dinoyo and Batu resort
with its vast apple and flower gardens. Enjoy lunch at local
restaurant. The rest of the day is set free for own leisure.

Day
03 = MALANG / BATU - BROMO ( B / L)

Breakfast
at hotel. Drive to Bromo area via southern road where
you may enjoy the opportunities to view lush countryside,
rural settlements, villagers' daily activities and terraced
rice fields. On a clear day, you may take the view continual
puffs from Mt. Semeru's active cone (3,676 m), which is
known as the highest peak on Java. In Piket Nol, stop
to enjoy panoramic view of the Indian Ocean afar from
a mounted hill. This route is reputed to be one of the
best places in Java to view rural countryside. Arriving
at Bromo area, check in to hotel and free. Lunch is included

DAY
04 = BROMO - KALIBARU (B / L)

Early
morning, join Mt. Bromo tour. The tour is conducted through
a transfer to Cemara Lawang village, get the pony riding
and trotting the steep slope of Mts. Tengger, crossing
the sea-of-sand, climbing up 245 steps to reach the awesome
rim crater where like other tourists wait for the sunrise
cracking up the day through its rays from the eastern
range of Mts. Tengger (subject to the weather). Back to
hotel and breakfast. Next proceed to Kalibaru passing
a dense tropical rain forest. Lunch is included. Arriving
at Kalibaru, join mini plantation tour featuring coffee
and cacao and tropical spices. Stay overnight at a home
stay.

Day
05 = KALIBARU - BALI (B / L)

Breakfast
at the home stay. Next, proceed to Ketapang and cross the
strait of Bali by ferry and further drive to your hotel
in Kuta / Sanur / Nusa Dua. Lunch is included. |
