SOBEK & SAFETY

SOBEK's professional guides are considered leaders in their field and are trained in all aspects of customer safety including CPR, search and rescue, first aid and preventive risk management. In addition to this SOBEK guides undergo regular specialist training in specialized emergency procedures, such as simulated spinal board evacuations.

Our rafting guides represented Indonesia in the 1993 World Championships, where Indonesia last competed in a world event. These guides today from the nucleus of the SOBEK operation.

 

SOBEK Team leaders are trained to RESCUE 3 - Swifwater Rescue level adn SOS AEA International First Aid. SOBEK's white water rafting standard operating practices meet American Affiliation and Australian White Water standars. SOBEK maintains an unbeaten safety record after 12 years in operation and a duty of care to it's clients that is second to none.
